No Seatbelt
By Sarah Hughes

Walking home all alone late last night a voice popped in my head
Said listen to what I’m saying now and forget what else I’ve said
Just think about all of those good old days we used to pass that turkey ‘round
Never to be lost what we had found

Sometimes I wake up at the break of dawn and some days I’ll sleep ‘til noon
Sometimes I think I’m gonna live forever sometimes the end’s coming real soon
But one thing that always stays the same is my thinking about you
The way you lived your life the way you wanted to

Chorus
Everybody wants to know the reason why
What it’s like way up there in the sky
Where we’re gonna go when we die
All we can do is give it one good try

So now I sit on the steps facing Dickson St. the clouds they’re turning black
Singing my song with no seatbelt on there ain’t no turning back
Cause when my mind begins to doubt I ask what you might do
And suddenly my skies are turning blue

Chorus
